2003 Volkswagen GTI 20th Anniversary Edition #1706 1 of only 1, 000 in Black Magic Pearl color. 1 of only 4, 000 20th Anniversary GTIs. After retiring from the Army early 2006 I bought this car as a retirement project. It was a low mileage rebuildable salvage vehicle that the original owner had hit the left front end hard enough to pop the two font airbags, bend the hood, left fender, front bumper, and cracked the bumper cover, radiator and radiator support. It was a fun project where I put the vehicle completely back to stock using all OEM replacements parts and had the repaired areas painted by a local shop. It was then Retitled with a Texas blue title with rebuilt comments and it turned out to a very fun, quick little car that was/is a joy to drive. 1.8 Turbo motor 6sp Manual Transmission Now in 2015 it is still a fun car and only has 62k miles and it runs and drives like it should. During the intervening years; -The car was bumped at a 4 way stop hard enough that it broke the left taillight, cracked the rear bumper cover, and damaged the rear hatch. I picked up some used OEM parts and had that same Body shop fix it up.
